WhatsApp finally rolled out two-factor verification in the latest update for its popular messaging platform to keep hackers at bay.
The two-factor authentication an optional security measure that would require a pre-assigned six digit passcode to verify a user’s phone number on WhatsApp.

Last year in April, the popular messaging platform introduced full end-to-end encryption including group chats.
Making sure that all messages are accessible only by the sender and recipient.
To enable the two-step verification, users simply need to open the app and go to the Settings menu.
And navigate to Account and where they can enable the security feature.
Once activate the app would require users to provide an email and a six digit passcode.
